How this is funded
EU Candidates is an independent project — not affiliated with the European Union or any government. It takes no money from the institutions or governments whose decisions it forecasts. This page explains how it stays running, and how you can help.
Why it is reader-funded
The one thing this tracker sells is that the forecast is not for sale. Reader support — rather than advertising or grants tied to the outcome — keeps the numbers independent. No supporter, sponsor, or donor can change a forecast, a date, a confidence band, or where a country ranks.
What it costs to run
Keeping the tracker online and up to date means paying for a few ongoing services. These costs are modest and are currently covered out of pocket.

If the forecasts and the cited sources are useful to you, a one-off contribution helps keep them updated, independent, and free to read. Payments are handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee — no card details ever touch this site.
Funding and disclosures
EU Candidates currently has no sponsors and no grant funding. If that ever changes, every funder will be named here — and any funder with a stake in the outcome will be declined or disclosed in full.
